On January 29, 2022, in Andijan, together with the Tashkent State Agrarian University, the Council of Farmers, peasant farms and farm owners and Cantral Asia and Caucasus association of agricultural research institutions (CACAARI) held a one-day training for women farmers of the Andijan region.
The purpose of the training seminar is to increase the knowledge and skills of women farmers in the field of agriculture and agribusiness.

Within the framework of the project, the farmer will be introduced to scientific, educational and demonstration laboratories along with the publication of a catalog of women's educational, innovative and educational modules, the creation of a database on innovative developments in agriculture.
Insufficient knowledge about the use of innovative technologies in cotton growing, grain, fruits, vegetables, melons and animal husbandry, insufficient awareness of resource-saving technologies and equipment, the use of foreign and local best practices in business implementation serve as the basis for this program. The purpose of the program is to conduct training seminars on agricultural and agrobiotic practices for women farmers, as well as exchange experience in regional networks of University centers for the dissemination of knowledge in Central Asian countries.

The secretariat of the Central Asia and the South Caucasus Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (CACAARI), together with the Extension Center, is launching the implementation of the third stage of the project "Development of knowledge and skills of women farmers in the practice of agriculture and agribusiness", as well as cooperation on the exchange of experience in regional branches of university agricultural research centers.
