Please kindly be informed that from 20 to 22 October 2021 the Global Symposium on Salt-affected Soils (GSAS21) “Halt soil salinization, boost soil productivity” will be held in a virtual format. This science-policy meeting is organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other partners. 

Please kindly find attached the Concept Note of the GSAS21. 

In this regard, I would kindly ask you to share with me any video materials that you may have prepared on the topic of Rehabilitation of the dried bottom of the Aral Sea. They will probably be demonstrated at one of the sessions of the GSAS21.
