On May 19-21, 2015, the VIII Republican Fair on Innovative Ideas, Technologies and Projects was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The organizers of the event were:

• Development of Science and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Coordination Committee
• Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan
• Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The fair was attended by representatives of organizations of various fields of activity, state universities and institutes, scientific communities, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Republican specialized scientific and practical medical centers, representative offices of state and international banks, etc.

Various types of innovative ideas, technologies and projects created under the guidance of researchers and their colleagues were presented. The following innovations were demonstrated as innovations:

• Technologies for creating a deep anti-filtration screen in the soil using interpolymer complexes (Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan);
• Method of fermentation of beer wort (Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan);
• Ways to solve social and economic problems based on the Agroservice Cluster (Samarkand Economic Institute);
• New Vertebral Body Retainer (Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Phthisiology and Pulmonology);
• Electronic Manual on Innovative Marketing (State University of Economics in Tashkent);
• Agricultural and urban wastewater in biological gas treatment using a multifunctional device (Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Land Reclamation);
• Modern automation of the ground water level measurement device (Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Land Reclamation, Bukhara Branch);
• Router for filtering network traffic (Tashkent University of Information Technologies) and many others
